Terms of Service

By installing or using Alarms Pro you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app — uninstall it. We tried to keep this short and readable, but it's still a legal contract.

1. Who you're contracting with

"We", "us", and "Mobile Alchemy" mean Mobile Alchemy Ltd., a company registered in England & Wales. "Alarms Pro" or "the app" means the iOS application of that name and its companion Apple Watch / iPad / Widget components, plus the website at alarmspro.app.

2. License grant

Mobile Alchemy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Alarms Pro on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to the Usage Rules in Apple's Standard EULA (which is incorporated by reference where it doesn't conflict with these terms). You may not redistribute, decompile, reverse-engineer, or rent the app.

3. Subscriptions & in-app purchases

Alarms Pro is free to download. Premium features ("Alarms Pro Pro" or "Pro") require a subscription:

Auto-renewal. Weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app's account screen.

Free trials. If you cancel during a free trial, you keep Pro features until the trial ends and won't be charged. Otherwise, the trial converts to a paid subscription at the rate above.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple per their Media Services Terms. Mobile Alchemy cannot issue refunds directly — we don't process the payment. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Lifetime purchases entitle you to all current Pro features and any future Pro features added during the natural lifetime of the app. They do not entitle you to perpetual server-side services if those are discontinued.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. Disclaimer about alarm reliability

Read this carefully — it's the most important paragraph.

Alarms Pro is designed to wake you up reliably and includes multiple layers of redundancy (AlarmKit on iOS 26, fallback notifications on earlier iOS, cached audio). However, no alarm clock — software or hardware — can guarantee 100% reliability. Things that can prevent an alarm from firing include, but are not limited to: a dead battery, the device being powered off, the user disabling alarms, system updates, hardware failure, audio routed to a disconnected Bluetooth speaker, "Reduce Motion + Live Activities off" combinations on edge iOS releases, and bugs.

You should not rely on Alarms Pro alone for safety-critical wake-ups (e.g. medication schedules, time-critical work shifts, transport with serious consequences for missing). For those, use multiple alarms, a backup hardware clock, or the Apple-built Clock app in addition to Alarms Pro.

Mobile Alchemy is not liable for any damages, missed events, lost wages, missed transport, missed medication, or other consequences arising from a failed alarm. The app is provided "as is" and "as available".

6. Intellectual property

All Alarms Pro source, branding, icons, and original copy belong to Mobile Alchemy. Apple, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music brand names belong to their respective owners and we use them under nominative-fair-use to describe app integrations. Bundled tones are either custom recordings owned by Mobile Alchemy or licensed under a permissive open license — full attribution available on request.

7. Third-party services

The app integrates with external services you choose to use:

We aren't responsible for third-party services going down, changing pricing, or revoking access.

8. Termination

You can terminate your relationship with Alarms Pro at any time by uninstalling the app. We can suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms — but realistically, this would only happen for fraud or abuse, and even then we have very limited tools (we don't have an account system to ban). Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Mobile Alchemy's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Alarms Pro is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow this cap; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest amount allowed by local law.

10. Warranty disclaimer

Alarms Pro is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that defects will be corrected. Statutory warranties that cannot be disclaimed under your local law are not affected.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes must be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of the EU/EEA member state where they reside, where local consumer law requires it. Nothing in these terms removes or limits any non-waivable consumer right granted to you by mandatory local law.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a material way, we'll bump the "Last updated" date and surface the change in the app's release notes. If you don't agree to the new version, stop using the app and (if applicable) cancel your subscription. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Apple-specific terms (required by Apple)

This EULA is between you and Mobile Alchemy only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. In the event the app fails to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (Apple has no other warranty obligation). Apple is not responsible for product claims, intellectual-property claims, or third-party-injury claims relating to the app. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it against you.
